Affiliate Agendas R Us .1

Quantcast

Welcome to another page of resources, tips and advice( whether you like it or not) on affiliate programs, beginner marketing and whatever I feel is important at the time.

As the economy tanks on us and opportunities to make money online become more important to bolster the home budget, having a reasonably successful business to fall back on occupies a larger portion of the time online.

The question is; For the amount of time spent online everyday trying to get traffic to your site and wring conversions from that traffic, is the return worth it?

This is my own twist on the standard ROI (Return On Investment), I call it T.I.M.E. or Time Invested Meets Expectations.

What is making a living all about, anyway? I don’t know

about you, but for me a living is not for working constantly, but rather for having the time to relax, enjoy your favorite pastimes, spend time with family and friends,,,etc., notice how TIME is involved with everything?

I could go into a long discourse on the nature of time and how Western Civilization has packaged, labeled and sold it or at least the ability to enjoy it, but I won’t.  You don’t need that.  It might be good for an essay at school, but pretty boring otherwise.

What I do want to point out is that there are ways to maximize the time you spend marketing to provide a better return of more time to have for yourself.  In other words , TS/TN =  TO .

Time Spent divided by Time Necessary equals Time Off. The less time you spend marketing or polishing your marketing practices taking into account the time that is necessary to provide results should equal more time off.

Let’s tweak that equation way down and get more time off, eh? A good way to do this is by a thing called link exchanges.  With these your blog or website trades links with other blogs/websites.  The benefits here are two-way links between the partner sites that are noticed by the search engines more, thereby producing better page rank and more traffic.

I’m relatively new to the marketing scene and have just discovered a great link exchange called Link Market.  This site is free to join with an optional upgrade, of course, but makes it very easy to get a ton of new traffic to your site.

For a minimum of work I have seen my traffic increase by almost 30%!  This is a primo device to skew the equation for TIME in your favor!  Why not try it today?  Just go to Link Market and sign up for free and see what I mean.
